Mixed feelings

Phone owned for

First of all I gotta say, it's features are really cool and the heat sensitive buttons are unique on this phone. You can customize all kinds of stuff on this phone. Also, if you have a problem seeing, you can magnify incoming text messages, so if you get them at night there's no need to search for your glasses.
Now to the negatives. I had went through 3 of these phones in 2 weeks. Why may you ask? Drop it just once and you will find out. I know you are not supposed to drop a cell phone, but I'm sorry it happens. It is not durable, so as long as you don't drop it your all good.

Glad I got it

Phone owned for

I love this phone so far. I have had it since Tuesday afternoon. I had not been under contract for 4 years--tried to avoid them. Mainly so that if a phone actually hit the market that I had been wanting--I could upgrade. Two years ago I purchased a Razr V3 off the internet for half what the contract price was at the time. within 4 months it went black screen on me. With the sellars help I got it replaced under warranty with Motorola. that one lasted 13 months or so and went black. I even had my own ringtones I had made on it. The only way I could tell who was calling was by their ringtones.

Broke down, went to Cingular store after searching the web. Thought this one had the monochrom outer display--didn't want it. It does not! It is Color!!! I am enjoying the mp3 player. I bought the microSD set up. I am in an office alone, no window, no radio reception to speak of---need music! Texting is fun also, and the camera is tremendous at 2.0 mp. Plus it has "frames" for your pix. Have a new Coton de Tulear puppy--gotta send pix to family.

The card is hot swappable--it is not behind the battery! I am going to make my ringtones again once I locate my CD's the songs were on. will see if I can save them to a micro SD card so that I will have them the next time I need them. I hope this phone lasts me until the nokia n75 finally makes it out. Perhaps I won't want to change!

Phone Options

Phone owned for

Okay, I guess I may be just spoiled. I first had the Nokia 6682 and really liked the features, but I didn't really need a PDA type phone. I wanted one that I could listen to music on while was working out and not miss any calls. I bought the "Sync" because I thought I would try a flip with the music player buttons on the outside. While the player is okay and faily easy to download music to, I was disappointed with the call features. With this flip phone it would have been really nice to have voice activated dialing if you are using bluetooth. I must say it is a pain to have your bluetooth headset in and have to take out your phone to dial a number. Okay that is a small deal, but not if you are driving or have other things in your hand.
