Although it has a sleek and attractive design, they keys are difficult to press and are hard to access (and are also loud - this might not bother some people, but i found it quite annoying!). It is nice and small, but really heavy. The screen time out is definitely the biggest drawback. Ive also noticed that the screen flickers and blacks out for about 1 second every now and then. I have also found that sometimes they keys dont light up either. The camera takes pretty good quality photos, the body is sturdy and it is comfortable to hold. (Not so good for texting though). Menus are nice and simple like other nokias. Overall I would rate it about 6/10. I'll also mention that I had to return my first one as it was faulty and the sound died the day after I bought it. If I had of known a bit more about it I probably wouldnt have got the same one when I replaced it.
I'm put off by the phone despite of the ok feature set. I would avoid it if asked again. -The numeric keys that appear when sliding the phone open are uncomfortable to use, the shape gives me cramps in my left thumb when I try to type a message. Furthermore, it's hard to hold the phone securely when typing. -The slide-mechanism seems to me wobbly and instable. Granted, I never had an issue, but it just does not feel solid. -The camera produces washy images with no sharpness whatsoever. It's slow as well, so barely useable if at all. -The biggest letdown is the in-call quality. Voices are distorted and sound more or less like what you would imagine using a bad sattelite phone somewhere on the pacific ocean. It reminded me of what ordinary analogue phones sounded like about 20-25 years ago. -Battery life is rather poor. 3 days of standby on less-than-moderate use is just not enough. The one positive thing I can say is that the design and material choice are superb. It's tiny and feels like a soft stone in your hand, rather heavy for its size due to the metal used, and that gives me a sensation of value. Too bad the phone does not match its appearance.
What a joke of a phone. Nokia STILL designs phones with an unalterable screen timeout? 10 seconds, and the screen disappears. Compose a message? - TIMEOUT. Play a game? - TIMEOUT. Use the camera? - TIMEOUT. Do *anything*? - TIMEOUT. And the key you press to get the screen back will perform a function you don't want.Don't go near this phone. And check for this ludicrous behavior on any Nokia product. The phone might be quite well-designed, equipped and featured but this incomprehensible design choice makes it the most annoying phone I have ever encountered.AVOID.
A Good Phone that has almost everything that you would need
