Boost is pretty much a perfect start if you trying to show your teen or kids responsibility.If you still own this particular model,to me its still one of Motorola's best phones.It does'nt feature alot of settings or anything you might find on a Blackberry,but this phone do get the job done when it comes to Talking,Texting,and a lil web browsing,The phone itself is very loud,You can set it outside on your front porch and be in your bedroom and still a hear it loud and clear like theres a bullhorn sounding.The features are pretty basic,the display is nice and clear,If you want ringtones,as the other guy say do not get em from boost.Ringers are pretty hard to install on this phone,you haf to download the motorola pack along with alot of other stuff.So its pretty much a hit or miss with that.The wap browser is pretty useless unless you have the patience of a wiseman to be able to put up with it.Its not really for all of that,If you just a talker and a texter,then this phone is All for You.

This phone is great for anyone who does not require ALOT of special features/functions. Has a bright display screen, organizer, vibration ringing, Ringtones are very loud. Would be a great starter phone for a young child learning responsibility. I have never experienced a droped call and service for the most part, is always 3-4 bars full!

Looks great even though it's not a flip phone!
Suggestion: DO NOT download ringtones directly from Sprint/Boost Monile. They are only about 4-5 seconds long...;(
