Decent phone

SDRokusek has owned it for more than one year before publishing this review

Maybe it's just that I have set my standards really low for smartphones, but this got the job done when I needed it too. The CPU is good, the Wi-Fi capabilities are fine, the storage is decent. The phone is also easy to navigate. The design is pretty subtle, but less is sometimes more. I should also probably mention that it sort of falls into the category of a starter phone, given the good but not extreme price and quality.

Build quality
8.0
Sturdy and drop-resistant (with a case)
Reception
7.0
Where I live I don't really need a long range/fast signal so the reception is fine
Call quality
6.0
It could be much better for a phone like this but I should probably expect as much for the price.
Internet
7.0
A little slower than I usually like, but "good enough."
Multimedia
6.0
General browsing is fine. Storage is OK.
Camera
6.0
The camera quality is not very good. Compared to many other phones, it will certainly fall behind.
UI speed
7.0
Motorola's UI is simplistic and easy to maneuver. A bit slow at times.
Everyday usage
8.0
Easy to use.
Text input
9.0
Responsive.
Display
7.0
It's hard to find a display better than 720p 60Hz anyway on a cheaper phone like this but it looks OK anyway.
Battery
10.0
Full-Day battery is great and charges quickly.

Pros

  • Great battery
  • Good CPU
  • Good display
  • Loud/Good speaker quality
  • Great Motorola actions/features exclusive to other phones

Cons

  • Low Storage
  • Can heat up over (very) intensive use
  • Large
  • Larger apps will run slow

Worst Motorola I've ever had

KatMat has owned it for less than year before publishing this review

I can honestly say, if this was the first Motorola I had ever gotten, I would never get another.
More problems with this Motorola than with my 3 year old Motorola. My boyfriend has also had multiple issues with his. He has already replaced his, I will replace mine soon, both of us replacing with different Motorola models

Battery
2.0
It is horrible to charge, drops a screen down constantlyand alerts loudly while charging saying to use the cord that came with it ... I was using that cord

Pros

  • Can't think of any ... I hope this number system goes from 1 as being the worst and 10 the best

Cons

  • Doesn't seem to recognize its own cord so interrups whatever you are TRYING to do while charging like NAVIGATE with the most annoying alert EVER plus drops screen saying to use the cord that came with it
