Big leaks reveal a plethora of Pixel Watch 5 info including a release date
We now have an idea of the sizes, prices, and colors for the Pixel 5 Watch along with a possible release date.

Now that we know the date when Google will unveil the Pixel 11 series and the Pixel Watch 5 (it's August 12, by the way), we can tell you much more about the Pixel Watch 5 thanks to a huge leak published in French by Dealabs. As expected, the Pixel Watch 5 will be available in two sizes and each size will have two variants, so as a result there will be four timepieces.
How many watches are being released under the Pixel Watch 5 brand?
This seems to be the year when some companies are raising prices and Google is no exception. According to the leak, you can expect approximately a $50 price hike for each of the four watches starting at $399. There will be a 41mm variant and a 45mm variant with each one having a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi or an LTE version.
With this in mind, here are the expected changes:
Pixel Watch 5
41mm-Bluetooth/Wi-Fi $399 / €419 / £369; LTE $499 / €519 / £469
45mm-Bluetooth/Wi-Fi $429 / €449 / £399; LTE $529 / €549 / £499
The percentage increase in price compared to the Pixel Watch 4 amounts to about 15%. You can probably blame the price increase on the severe shortage we have seen for memory and storage chips thanks to the surge in demand for High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM) and NAND storage for AI data centers. This has resulted in higher Bill of Materials (BOM) costs for manufacturers.
Tech manufacturers have a difficult decision to make
Companies like Apple, Google, Samsung, and other manufacturers presented with a higher BOM can eat the higher prices and deal with lower profit margins resulting in lower profits and a lower stock price. Conversely, they can hike their prices and let the customers deal with the higher component costs.
The Dealabs report and one from Nieuwe Mobiel (in Dutch) also mention the colors that the Pixel Watch 5 will be available in:
- Natural Silver – Polished, 41mm & 45mm
- Dark Anthracite – Matte, 41mm & 45mm
- Pyrite – Matte, 41mm & 45mm
- Warm Gold – Polished, 41mm only
The new Pyrite color is described as a pale-brassy-yellow-hue that people often mistake for yellow.
We've already seen a Pixel Watch 5 in the wild
You might recall that we have already seen a Pixel Watch 5 in Silver when a scuba diver found one in the ocean. The reverse of the watch shows that it is a Pixel Watch 5 model and while the battery is dead, incredibly the timepiece still showed the correct time in low-power mode.

There is a rumored release date for the Pixel Watch 5
While we showed you the official invitation from Google revealing the August 12 unveiling date (starting at 6 PM EDT/3 PM PDT), the Dealabs report shows that the Pixel Watch 5 will be released on August 20 alongside the Pixel 11 series.
