This just-released Pixel Buds Pro 2 model is already on sale at Amazon

While they certainly weren't the highlight of the Made by Google event this August, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 still got some attention. For now, that starts with a new Olive color option, designed to complement the Pixel 11 lineup. And the best part? The earbuds are currently available for 17% off their original price.

That brings the $230 wireless earbuds under the $190 mark, which is a fantastic bargain given that they officially hit the market on August 20. But hey, it's not the only color on sale. Right now, the Peony model is sporting a slightly bigger 22% discount, giving you an extra $10 in savings.

You may be thinking that a new color option isn't much of an upgrade. Normally, I'd agree with you. But Google is actually preparing to roll out a slew of features designed to improve the Pixel Buds Pro 2 starting this September. Among those is a dynamic ANC extra that'll adjust the level of noise cancellation depending on your surroundings. 

But even if we don't count the upcoming software refinements, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are already a pretty good pair of wireless earbuds. For instance, their lightweight design makes them comfortable to use for hours on end without causing ear fatigue.

As my colleague Preslav also pointed out in the Pixel Buds Pro 2 review, the earbuds also deliver great sound quality out of the box. Unlike some cheaper options, they don't give you overpowering bass, keeping the overall sound balanced and pleasant.
