Did the Samsung Galaxy S9 go through a benchmark test with the SD-845, 6GB of RAM and Oreo on board?
A phone with its model number hidden was recently put through the Geekbench benchmark test. With a Snapdragon 845 mobile platform under the hood, 6GB of RAM inside, and Android 8.0 pre-installed, this could be the Samsung Galaxy S9. We emphasized the word "could" because these specs are going to be a common sight as 2018 gets going. However, Samsung is getting first crack at the Snapdragon 845 SoC, which raises the odds a bit that this is indeed Sammy's 2018 flagship phone.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ on February 25th during the next Samsung Unpacked event in Barcelona. The LG G7 will be announced when the manufacturer feels that the time is right, and the recently seen HTC U12 (aka Imagine) could also be weeks away.

The device, whether it is the Galaxy S9 or some other handset, topped the results generated by 2017's Samsung Galaxy S8. The results from the device powered by the Snapdragon 845 showed a single-core score of 2378 and a multi-score tally of 8132. Considering that back in December, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ went through the Geekbench test scoring a similar 2422  and 8351, respectively, it certainly seems plausible that the results below are for the Galaxy S9.
