Lenovo's 10-inch Smart Display with Google Assistant goes $100 off list to $150 at Costco
So-called “smart displays”, aka smart speakers with touchscreens, are among the hottest gadgets you can buy at great prices this holiday season, but choosing the right model and the right moment to pull the trigger is certainly not easy.

Costco warehouse club members may want to consider Lenovo’s 10-incher right now at a cool $100 discount valid through November 26 or while supplies last. The “full-sized” Google Assistant-powered Lenovo Smart Display normally costs $250, and although retailers like Best Buy are selling the 8-inch variant at $100 (down from a $200 MSRP) in anticipation of Black Friday, there’s no sign of an impending deal on the 10-inch model anywhere else but Costco.

If you’re in the market for this type of home entertainment/smart home product, the bang for buck of the $150 Lenovo Smart Display 10 on special offer at the time of this writing seems essentially unbeatable.

Yes, the Google Home Hub is about to go 50 bucks lower at everyone from Best Buy to the manufacturer’s own US e-store, but Lenovo’s device is larger, sharper, more powerful, and also has a camera for video calls.

Meanwhile, Amazon’s second-generation Echo Show comes with similarly impressive audio capabilities, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 10.1-inch screen of its own, but significantly lower display resolution and a higher $230 price that’s only set to receive a markdown to $180.

Bottom line, this is an objectively awesome Costco deal that Google Assistant enthusiasts don’t want to miss out on. And it’s not even Black Friday yet.
