iPhone manufacturer Foxconn Q3 revenue record high
Foxconn, China-based manufacturer of Apple's iPhone, registered record consolidated revenues of $26.97 billion (NT$846.712 billion), according to the company's consolidated financial report for the third quarter of 2010. At the same time the gross and net operating margins of the company are down to 8.09 per cent and 2.53 per cent, their lowest levels since 2008.

The mixed figures come after continuing reports of employee abuse that have been haunting the company. Employee suicides painted a frightening picture of the company's management, however there is no official confirmation to mismanagement reports and some measures have reportedly been taken.

Foxconn is the Hong Kong subsidiary of the Taiwanese manufacturer, Hon Hai, and can put out up to 130,000 iPhones each day.
