ZTE is now selling the mid-range ZMAX 2 unlocked in the United States. A few months ago, the ZTE ZMAX 2 made its debut over at AT&T, but the phone is now available for purchase in its unlocked variant directly from ZTE's online store.

As some may recall, the ZTE ZMAX 2 comes with a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of integrated storage space, a microSD card slot, a 3000mAh battery, as well as 4G LTE capabilities. In the imaging department, the ZTE ZMAX 2 is equipped with an 8MP front-facing shooter with LED flash and a 2MP selfie camera. On the software side, the phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

As part of ZTE's Cyber Week deals, you can get your hands on a ZMAX 2 for just $129.99. That's $50 lower than the phone's standard pricing of $179.99, and probably not a bead deal overall given the specs of the handset. The deal is available starting today and will last until the end of the month, meaning that you'll be able to skip past the Black Friday madness this week and still get the phone at a promotional price.

What do you guys think? Are you interested in getting the ZTE ZMAX 2 now that you don't have to get the phone through a carrier?
