Xiaomi Mi3 prototype spotted with 3GB RAM and a huge 5.5-inch 1080p screen
The Xiaomi Mi-2S, the last flagship by the Chinese phone maker, made it into headlines a few months ago by beating the Samsung Galaxy S4 in terms of performance, and its successor has just leaked out, promising to deliver even more oomph.

Images of a prototype Xiaomi Mi3, the new flagship, have appeared on Chinese microblog Weibo showing a huge change in the way. Up from a 4.3-inch display on its predecessor, the new Xiaomi Mi3 is getting a huge 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

What’s more, instead of the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chip, the new Mi3 will get an even faster processor, and our bet is on the Snapdragon 800. Along with it, comes a whopping 3GB of RAM. Other features of the device include a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front shooter and a long-lasting 3500mAh battery. Xiaomi phones run on the MIUI custom ROM for Android.

Xiaomi is not a name you get to hear a lot about in the States, but it is huge in China, its home country. The Xiaomi Mi3 is the company’s upcoming flagship, it’s coming in August. Sadly, you can only get it in China.
