Xiaomi Mi3 prototype spotted with 3GB RAM and a huge 5.5-inch 1080p screen

Images of a prototype Xiaomi Mi3, the new flagship, have appeared on Chinese microblog Weibo showing a huge change in the way. Up from a 4.3-inch display on its predecessor, the new Xiaomi Mi3 is getting a huge 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
What’s more, instead of the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chip, the new Mi3 will get an even faster processor, and our bet is on the Snapdragon 800. Along with it, comes a whopping 3GB of RAM. Other features of the device include a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front shooter and a long-lasting 3500mAh battery. Xiaomi phones run on the MIUI custom ROM for Android.
Xiaomi is not a name you get to hear a lot about in the States, but it is huge in China, its home country. The Xiaomi Mi3 is the company’s upcoming flagship, it’s coming in August. Sadly, you can only get it in China.
Why can't Xiaomi release a rebranded U.S. version? for sure they'll give Apple or Samsung a run for their money

It will never be better than the S4, simply because it will not be supported in the long term and there would be little developer support for this phone if it was released outside of China.
