Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update for VAIO Phone Biz gets postponed
Japanese company VAIO announced recently that customers who purchased that the Phone Biz smartphone will have to wait a while longer for the Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update.

One of the smartphone curiosities available in Japan, the Windows Phone-powered Phone Biz wasn't released in other regions and it will probably remain a Japanese affair until it reaches end of life status.

VAIO Phone Biz hit shelves several months ago for around $530 outright, even though the Japanese company announced a few months before the official release that the smartphone won't cost more than $450.

The smartphone was launched with Windows 10 Mobile right out of the box, but due to some issues with Continuum, the next major update released by Microsoft has been delayed for Phone Biz users. According to VAIO, “in Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update, Continuum does not work in combination with the display of a specific resolution.”

Although the Japanese company announced it has delayed the release of this update for Phone Biz users, it did not reveal any additional details.

Specs-wise, the Phone Biz is a mid-range smartphone since it sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display, as well as 4G LTE support. Under the hood, VAIO's handset rocks a 1.5GHz octa-core core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

The Phone Biz packs a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, as well as a 5-megapixel seflie camera in the front. It's also powered by a 2,800 mAh battery.
