Watch the first ad for the Apple iPhone X right here

Earlier today, we showed you the official new product videos for the Apple iPhone 8, Apple iPhone 8s, Apple iPhone X and the Apple Watch Series 3. All four are narrated by Jony Ive in his inimitable fashion. Now, this morning, we can show you the first television commercial for the tenth anniversary iPhone. Running for approximately 70 seconds, the ad is called "Meet iPhone X."

Not only is the lack of a home button mentioned, the ad also shows the swipe up gesture that takes users of the phone to the home screen no matter where they are in the iOS 11 eco-system. New features include Wireless Charging, the A11 Bionic chipset and Face ID. The latter replaces Touch ID by using facial recognition to unlock the device and verify the user's identification for Apple Pay.

Can you name all of the sensors in the "notch?" You can if you study this video. It also gives you a run down of the specs found on the dual rear-camera setup. And AR can turn a simple video of a one-on-one basketball challenge into Jurassic Park!

The Apple iPhone X will launch on November 3rd. Will you be able to hold out until then?

Ad is way too sassy and blingy. Who was behind it?

They've really lost their touch, its like a Microsoft ad from the 90s or something. Information overload, gimmicky features, floating text with quick transitions to more floating text....whatever happened to simple and functional.

Microsoft's Ad-Team could learn something from them.

Think only the AR is nice, but all other features are really old tech! But i can remember my old Nokia N8/N9 had a feature like AR, with Here Maps! Wireless charging 2012! Gestures 2011 Nokia N9 was the first. Oled screens more than 10 years. Face ID? Why not iris Scanner? So apple is selling old tech for a high price! But they presented like it is all new and top notch while it is not!

Wow, quite technical ad from Apple. Really nice color theme though.

Let's wait how the PA will give it's verdict on them? Probably will be the best phone that PA had to review.

Emoji that tracks your faces every move isn't revolutionary, it just feeds the paranoia machine. What were Apple thinking?

"You've never seen anything like it"... Unless you've bought an Android phone in the past two years. The only new thing is the emoji. I've been doing AR since Nintendo 3DS in 2011. I like the portrait lighting too. So I guess that's technically two new things since I don't know another app that does that.
