He didn't even explained the new feature, backup password, which works whenever Face ID fails :D

Not new. Passcode is backup when biometric fail, like the fp scanner. Android and iOS have this

dude, chill...it's just a phone!! you've been trying to defend that unlocking failure for like 2 hours, nobody cares...

I'm perfectly fine. I just don't really get why people make s**t up and not even watch the event. Why are you guys trolling every iPhone article? I think it's you guys who really care lmao. I am just here to bring the facts, which I do. I live in a objective reality, do you? Ya'll treat this like sport teams, I personally just enjoy new tech and can appreciate when a company brings forth something new and interesting BTW it wasn't a unlocking failure. The device clearly showed on stage that "enter passcode to activate Face ID" so he just switched to his other X The folks at r/Android are nothing like you rantous fanboys on this site, we at r/Android are actually having great objective conversation on the new A11/face ID and vice versa. No ranting kids there Early hands on from multiple sites are saying that it is working really well and is dam accurate, can't be fooled by a photo

its a good Phone ( the Soc is killer) but here is the thing all these new features like wireless charging, Larger displays, QHD, Bezel-less design, Face ID Amoled display were all , without mercy, bashed as being gimmicky and useless so now that Apple has finally implemented them ( and with no change they are standards ) are they not to joining the gimmicky party? Look I get it - its tribalism at its best but here is the empirical data none of these features are anything new and at the and of the day its up to the individual if it suit his/her needs or desires. IMO, which is all subjective, It is a nice phone but the cut in notch source the deal as it just looks less then appealing then either the LG v30 or Samsung s series.

Jony Ive has been on holiday for 4 years. The iPhone 8 is the same as the 6 and the watch 3 is the same as the original. I used to look forward to the new design but it's just stagnated year after year. The iPhone X is just a different screen and no home button. A clown could have designed that.

I really believe SJ drove Ives to do better and without his influence/inspiration ives has really become bored. I would be surprise years later in an interview he comments on the years after the SJ era and his relationship with Apple and Tim Cook.

Jony is every kind of snob you expect to overanalyze the lump of petrified gopher feces at the San Francisco art museums.

I hate Apple as a brand... The iPhone X is cool.. Most of the features it includes are "catching up" but it's better late than never... Good to see Apple learning... The rest of the two iPhones introduced are meh...
