How to watch the Huawei Mate 30 Pro's announcement live

The Galaxy Note 10 series arrived last month and Apple introduced the iPhone 11 one week ago. This Thursday, it’s Huawei’s turn to announce new flagships smartphones and, as per usual, it’ll be livestreaming the whole event.

As confirmed by Huawei itself, this week’s press conference will focus on the Mate 30 series. Leaked promo images have revealed this includes the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, the ultra-premium Mate 30 Porsche Design, and the budget Mate 30 Lite. Fans of the Huawei Mate 20 X may be in for a disappointment, though, because it seems a successor isn’t planned.

Also set to make an appearance on Thursday is the next-gen Huawei Watch GT 2. This should focus on support for a range of physical activities and offer an impressive battery life. But just like the original, it’ll skip Google’s Wear OS in favor of Huawei’s own LiteOS.

Huawei’s press conference will start at 12:00pm GMT | 2:00pm CEST | 8:00am ET | 5:00am PT and will be livestreamed on the company’s official YouTube channel via the video embedded above.

Huawei needs a major makeover and a shakeup. Until they do away with the shady business tactics, which definitely aren't political nonsense as erroneously reported by Huawei apologists, then maybe they will be welcomed back into the Android world.

I guess I can see your point of “Huawei is not Huawei without him”, lol. I still find it a shame that Huawei is caught in the middle of all of this political BS nonsense, which it actually is, despite what some Huawei haters are erroneously reporting. They are no more “shady” than say, Google, which is always getting in trouble by the U.S. and other governments lately for their shady tactics. Android is poorer without Huawei, so I hope this political propaganda ends soon. The consumer is the one that’s suffering the most out of all of this.

Hopefully, the CEO won’t be giving the presentation this time around, he’s horrible on the mic, lol. And hopefully, if Google apps aren’t mentioned, a work around is mentioned. It’s just a shame that Huawei is caught in the middle of all of this shady politics nonsense, as all this is really doing is shrinking the choices of consumers, which are the biggest losers out of all of this in the end.

I really don't understand why do they keep bringing this guy to the stage!? He can't speak English (it'snot my 1st language neather, bit that's why I am not performer),he's not eloquent, he's boring.... Last year I was wondering why don't they just pay real stage performer, to make that more interesting??? Anyway, good phone presentation destroyed by egoism of a director whose wanted to be as Tim Cook.
