Vivo Xplay 5S rumored once again to have monster specs; will the myth become real in 2016?
Last November, we showed you a picture of the Vivo Xplay 5S. At the time, the device was expected to carry a 6-inch screen, with a 1440 x 2560 resolution, and the Snapdragon 805 chipset under the hood. Another image of the device was leaked last April. While the phone has yet to officially surface, the rumored specs for such a device have once again started circulating, with the main difference taking place under the hood. This time, the Snapdragon 820 chipset is expected to be inside, driving the unit.

The rumor mill still calls for the phone to feature a 6-inch display, with 2.5D glass and a 2160 x 3840 4K resolution. The amount of RAM on board has receive a bump to 4GB from 3GB and there is now 64GB of internal storage said to be inside. A 21MP camera adorns the back, while a 12MP front-facing snapper will handle selfies and video chats. A 4000mAh+ battery is expected to keep the lights on, and Android 6.0 will supposedly be pre-installed.

The Vivo Xplay 5S won't see the light of day until 2016, especially with the Snapdragon 820 employed. So far though, we have passed along rumored versions of this smartphone for nearly a year without it being released. Hopefully, this beast is real and is released early next year.

Thanks for the tip!
