Verizon's website now features Moto Maker landing page
Even though it is not yet functional, a Moto Maker page is now showing on Verizon's website. Back in October, reliable source evleaks tweeted that Verizon customers would be allowed to build their own customized Motorola Moto X starting on November 11th. That date happens to be tomorrow (Monday). Other carriers are also rumored to be close to offering Motorola Moto X customization for their customers.
Up to now, AT&T customers exclusively have had the opportunity to use the website to select the color of the back cover, choose between a white or black front, and the color of the accents. Those using the Moto Maker can also choose between 16GB and 32GB versions of the phone, select the wallpaper they want on the phone out of the box, and have their Google accounts ready to sync.
Verizon recently cut the price of the Motorola Moto X by $100 to $99.99 on contract, which puts Big Red's price in lockstep with the current price of the phone ordered through the Moto Maker. That is another clue to its imminent launch on Verizon. We should be getting official word any day now.
