Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD tablet leaks out
Verizon Wireless is getting ready to release a new Android tablet called Ellipsis 8 HD. The new device should replace the Ellipsis 8 launched in late 2014, and will likely become Verizon's fourth Ellipsis-branded tablet (since the carrier also released the Ellipsis 10.1 and Ellipsis 7).
Thanks to images revealed today by Evan Blass, we can see that the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD appears to be thinner and a bit more stylish than its predecessor. The tablet has LTE connectivity, seems to be running Android Marshmallow, and comes in (at least) two color variants: midnight blue and arctic grey. Right now, there are no other details about the device.
The old Ellipsis 8 is currently sold by Verizon for $49.99 with a 2-year contract, or $249.99 outright. The Ellipsis 8 HD will probably be offered for similar prices. We don't know exactly when the new tablet will be available to buy, but it should happen pretty soon. Interested?
