Update to HTC Zoe app adds support for Android 5.0
HTC Zoe is a feature that comes out of the box on the HTC One (M7) and HTC One (M8). It also is available as an app in the Google Play Store. This app has received an update which allows it to work on the Motorola produced Nexus 6 and the HTC manufactured Nexus 9 slate. Zoe allows you to select still or video images, add a filter and soundtrack, and send it to friends and family. What you are doing is essentially turning video clips and photographs, adding some effects and music, and turning the finished product into a video story.

The updated highlight engine brings new themes, effects and transitions. It also brings a higher quality video to the finished product. The update also allows Zoe users to save on their handset, an HD version of a Zoe they created. A revamped Discovery Feed delivers popular local content and there is the usual performance enhancements and bug fixes.

If you already have Zoe on your phone, the update will be available from the My apps section of the Google Play Store. If you own an Android phone, but don't have the app, it is a free download from the store. HTC says that it soon will make Zoe compatible with iOS.
