UPDATED: More rumors about HTC Leo. HTC Mega to succeed Touch 3G?
It looks like the speculations on HTC Leo are to get more and more intense. According to the Tweakers.net site, the Leo will actually be a WM6.5-powered, Diamond2-like device, lacking a hardware keyboard and sporting a large touch-sensitive screen. However, the source doesn’t seem to reject the rumor about Leo’s clamshell form-factor which we told you about yesterday, and goes on to inform that there’s going to be a 3.5mm jack on board, as well as Opera Mobile 9.5 browser preloaded.

In addition, a new HTC phone, called Mega, is said to be in the works too. Now, the Mega also seems to fall into the category of Windows Mobile 6.5-based handsets, while the information points it would come to succeed Touch 3G. For now, all we know about it is the screen resolution of 240x320 pixels.

As before, we have no idea of when we might see these handsets live, but we will continue looking for fresh details, hoping that things would soon get more official.

*Update*: The ai.rs blog claims to have revealed the specifications of the HTC Leo. The info confirms it would be running on WM6.5 and goes on to list a giant 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, 5MP camera with autofocus and dual LED flash, 320MB RAM, 512MB ROM and a 1GHz Qualcomm chipset. Check out the image below for the full list of provided specs, but still, keep in mind these are far from official.
