Twitter updates its iOS app to version 5.3, brings big improvements

Twitter for iOS has been updated to version 5.3 which brings with it many new changes and features. It all starts with the new search button at the top, which offers more relevant search results, and the whole app is optimized to open and run faster on older devices. Inline links now load instantly. Discover is a new feature that presents a single stream of tweets, trends and activities. You can pull to refresh or just scroll to see more content. You will be able to view your five most recent searches and tap them to redo the search, or clear your search history.

Tap URLs that appear in your stream to be linked to them immediately. The Connect function shows your "interactions" like new followers, retweets and mentions by default. You always have the option of changing to "View mentions only". Does your language move from right to left like Arabic or Hebrew? The updated Twitter app for iOS supports it! And of course, you can't tell the players without bug fixes. Performance problems and other issues that users have been having with the app will be corrected with the update.
