Twitter suspends Twidroyd with new version coming soon
Those using Twidroyd should know by now that the service has been suspended by Twitter for violating the latter's rules and regulations. Even Twidroyd "Pro", which must be paid for, is suspended until a new version can be released that will comply with all of Twitter's rules.

Although Twidroyd still appeared in the Android Market as of Friday evening, users reported that their timeline was not being updated. And this is not the first time that both sides have scuffled. A few months ago, Twidroyd-then spelled Twidroid-was asked to change the name of the service to something that didn't sound like or look like Twitter.

Twidroyd has just announced that they will come back to the Android Market with a service that doesn't infringe upon Twitter's rules and regulations, so for those who prefer the former's application, keep an eye peeled for information on when there will be a re-launch of the service.

The official Twitter help center page noted that Ubertwitter was also suspended along with Twidroyd.
