Tinder is testing a feed that shows Instagram and Spotify updates from your matches

In a bid to bring you and your matches closer together, Tinder is now testing a new feed feature that shows what people who you've swiped to the right have been up to on Instagram and Spotify. The feed appears as a new tab on the Messages screen and will display recently added Tinder photos, Instagram posts and Spotify Top Artists, provided, of course, that you and your matches have your respective accounts linked to the matchmaking app.

People can comment on updates from you that appear on their Tinder feeds, but these are visible only to you and those who have left them. And yes, this means that Tinder matches that don't follow you on Instagram will still be able to see what you're posting there. Thankfully, you can manage what you share with your potential dates by visiting your Tinder settings page and making the desired changes from there.

The new feed is intended take Tinder "beyond the swipe," says the company, although the swipe was from the very beginning at the core of the platform. Either way, the feature is currently being tested in Australia, New Zealand and Canada, with a worldwide rollout in the cards for next year.
