This is what Lollipop and Sense will look like on the HTC One (M8)
If you own the HTC One (M8), you might be curious about the Lollipop update. What will the latest and greatest version of Android look like in combination with Sense? LlabTooFeR has posted some screenshots of Android 5.0.1 on an HTC One (M8) with Sense 6.0. One of the changes brings an "Easy Mode" to the phone, made for those people who are not savvy enough to figure out how to put up widgets and set up a home page. This screen has a strong resemblance to the one used when the Extreme Power Savings Mode is enabled.

Sense 6 with Lollipop employs many of the animations that come with Android 5.0. Users will have access to lock screen notifications, quick settings and the new multi-task view.

HTC recently reiterated that the carrier branded HTC One (M8) and HTC One (M7) will receive Android 5.0 no later than this coming February. Will this be a promise that HTC keeps? We should know in about 50 days.

It doesn't look like sense has changed a whole lot. And honestly I have never really like sense either. As much as I like my M8, I don't really seeing myself ever getting a M8 or any HTC with sense on it.

What are you talking about! I love my Note 4, i do like the feature of touchwiz and never been botheref by the way it looks, but Sense on HTC devices is simple, clean and organized, it is the best skinned Android OS imo.

Honestly I don't. I've seen Touchwiz on 5.0 and for once I prefer the look of stock over a UI.

I have never liked sense. I know it's pretty snappy. But I cant get past how much it looks just like it's old iterations. It's WAY too skeuomorphic. People can talk about TW all day long but it's come a very long way from the galaxy s to the Note 4.

I don't think you know what skeuomorphism is.

Sense looks boringgggggggggggg. A recycled design done 5 times. At least Touchwiz has changed for the better with each iteration. Htc is stuck now and Sense needs a total redesign or needs to be scrapped.

I don't like the newer version of sense. It's becoming very flat and boring while the older ones are heavy with more animations, which I prefer more

Htc Sense has become an eye sore!! It's hideous. The HTC M8 GPE was better than this Sense M8. If someone gave me an M8 with Sense on it, I would sell it like I would if someone gave me an iphone. I can't stand them.

yep, basically the only changes are: notification drawer's look, and applications going in and out from the bottom of the screen.

It's not really bloatware, because Android is owned by Google.

theoritically it's not, but the definition of bloatware is non-unistallable apps that very few people use.

They're probably saving real lollipop implementation for Sense 7, on their new flagship

I love the old multi tasking design much better than the new cards like one. I was hoping they won't go with the grain and use it like every other OEM did with their lollipop update.
