This is the Samsung Galaxy S6 according to the newest rumors; somewhat reminds of an iPhone 6
Earlier today, we showed you a slew of photos that allegedly showcase the chassis of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 forerunner (these are unconfirmed, mind you!). Judging from the purported chassis, port cutouts, as well as the speaker placement at the bottom, we can hardly deny that the pictured hardware frame packs an iPhone 6 vibe.

Moreover, we also heard that Samsung's flagship might end up being quite reminiscent of, ahem, Apple's record-shattering iPhone 6, which further fuels the speculations that the anticipated flagship might borrow some of Jony Ive's latest design language.

Just a few hours after the chassis photos leaked, the first computer-generated renders of the Galaxy S5's successor popped in as well. It seems that their creator has not only made full use of the most recent alleged photos, but has also implemented some of the previously alleged case blueprints that were said to picture the flagship-to-be. Namely, the rear camera module has made its way to the newest renders of the phone.

Here's what the Samsung Galaxy S6 will look like if all the rumors turn out to be true. Also check out our rumor round-up if you want a closer look at the possible hardware specs.

Thanks for the tip, anonymous user!

Doesn't matter as it looks really nice. I'll most likely change my note 2 for this baby.

Can I just ask why you didn't go for the Note 4?

Outdated cpu. The year of 2014 was all about overclocked sd 800 with different names to fool the customers and I really wanted sth with 64bit support like sd810. Yea, there's the exynos version of note, but sammy limited its potential too much, so it's a 32bit cpu. This year is all about 64bit beasts and sammy is killing its awesome 14nm exynos and then you get the good stuff like loop pay, new design, ddr4 ram, new fingerprint sensor, and who knows what else. S6 is going to be the best s series since galaxy s2. Nothing could beat s2 in tests and I feel s6 will be the same. Can't wait for it.

The Droid RAZR beat the galaxy S2 in tests.

Outdated compared to what? What benefit actually is 64bit when all the apps so far written for Android are all 32bit? Outdated CPU? Most people don't even use the power of the CPU at all. I am sure you don't.

From what I understand Lollipop is designed to compile any app into 64 bit when installed onto the device. So all apps will see the 64 bit performance difference right off the bat. Especially when couple with copious amounts of ultra fast low powered ram. Lack of 64bit is what has been holding android back. so This should be an amazing year not just for Samsung but for android as a whole.

How is phone arena all over Apples nuts? Because they are pointing out the obvious? I'm a huge android fan, and even I can see the similarities.

Reminds me more of an Xperia Z3 than the iPhone 6. Although those 2 have similarities as well. Just like the iPhone 6 has similarities with the HTC one..

The first problem is, many always say some other phone looks like an iPhone. I have yet to see an article when Apple copies the look of someone elses phone. The iPhone 5/5S look nearly 100% identical to the HTC One...Yes?! The original iPhone looks very similar to the Samsung F700...YES?! The iPhone 4/4S look very similar to the LG Prada, YES?! Have you ever seen any articles saying this from PA? Because I haven't. Yet as soon as Samsung has a phone you "think" looks like an iPhone; everyone is all over it. In fact I have a better thing. There are 2 Chinese companies, pne is called GooPhone which makes a phone that is 99.9% identical to the iPhone. In fact they make several phones that not only mimic Apple, they mimic Samsung too. Yet I have yet to see one article from PA about it and of course Apple hasn't even raised a stink. Yet Samsung who only has one phone that I admit looks like the original iPhone the original Galaxy S, sued Samsung saying the GS3, 4 and even the 5 look like iPhones and they simply do not. The only similarity of this phone to the iPhone is its metal all the way around, the metal isn't paint like it is on the Note 4. Sure it has a speaker grill and headphone jack at the bottom, but Apple was not the first to ever so this and Apple wasn't even the first to use metal to make a phone. Sure from a distance or more than 10 feet, you could probably mistake this phone for an iPhone. But that is true of nearly every phone sold as they have the candy-bar shape and in black or any dark color can easily be mistaken for an iPhone. Fools always say, any phone with metal sides, curved corners and a centralized home button, looks like the iPhone. Even thought 100's of facts show Apple simply followed the evolution of mobile devices. History shows that several phones even ones with physical QWERTY keyboards had a centralized home button on them. You cn tell but this picture that this device is not only bigger than the iPhone 6, it is also wider. You can tell it has a higher resolution display by the size of the icons. The antenna gaps have similar placing as the Note 4, not some ugly plastic band like on the iPhone 6's. Apple wishes their phone looked this good. The similarities of this phone are exactly like the similarities of cars. They all have 4 wheels in the same place, they all have steering wheels in the same place, the windows are pretty much in the same place and so are all the lights. I guess that makes all cars look similar too. RIGHT?

I actually find it funny, because the iPhone 6/6+ look very similar to the S5. In fact if I took a black S5 and a Black iPhone 6/6+ and took a piece of black tape and covered the home buttons, they are nearly impossible to tell apart other than size. I mean look at this photo and tell me I am lyinghttp://images.gizmag.com/inline/iphone-6-vs-galaxy-s5-6.jpg I would say Apple nearly copied the S5 down to it almost being the same size. But I don't see a PA article saying this though...DO WE!!!???

You damn right it doesn't. It look better. Lots of phones look similar to another phone, but this doesn't look like an iPhone 6. Similar? Sure...maybe. There are phones that look exactly like the iPhone 6, but PA doesn't say jap about those and neither does Apple.

Wait. It looks like the Galaxy S5, but it looks like the iPhone 6? Quick means the iPhone 6 copied the Galaxy S5? These comments are always a hoot.

It doesn't look like the Galaxy S5. It does however look like a Galaxy device as it keeps the same Galaxy styling. But the S5 wished it looks this good and I actually like how the S5 looked. It just wasn't worth me dropping my Note 3 for...this may be worth dropping my Note 4 though.

Samsung phones are made out of cheap junk metal, glass and plastic. The Apple iPhone is made from high quality metal, glass and plastic.

This is the baddest argument I've ever heard. Why could a iphone 6 bend such easily? Because of the high quality!?!? I don't think so...

Everything looks good on it except for the iPhone6 (+) looking frame. Not digging the completely Rounded frame I love the style of the note 4 frame. They should continue with that look. Maybe tweak it but keep the foundation none the less. Not that Apple rounded crap.
