Cutting coupons out seems like a thing of the past, but it's difficult to see people move away from such habits. In an age when mobile phones keeps us all connected to everything going on in our lives, there are some services out there that offers digital coupons on our handsets to save some money on certain products. Target is doing its customers a big favor by being the first national retailer to provide scannable coupons on mobile handsets to get in on some exclusive offers. No need to cut out anything with scissors, customers simply need to scan a barcode on their phone during the checkout process. Thanks to Target's unique point-of-sale scanning technology, it may spur more retailers to follow suit as we continue to focus on our cell phones for a lot of our daily activities.
