T-Mobile's BlackBerry Bold 9700 receives update for OS version 5.0.0.586
With an original target release date for May 11th, which was then delayed until May 18th, T-Mobile's version of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is now getting an update for OS version 5.0.0.586. The latest update for the handset brings along the usual medley of improvements and fixes like an increase in general stability, improved BlackBerry Messenger client, visual voice mail improvements, resolves 3G dropped call problems, and improvements to the track pad. In addition, there is now a separate icon for BES email to clear up some of the clutter of having to figure out which emails are from what and mobile backup support. Owners can get comfy with the update by simply visiting the official T-Mobile BlackBerry Upgrade site where they can download the update.
