T-Mobile tipped to offer Galaxy Note 7 at half price with a BOGO promo

The Uncarrier crusade that T-Mobile launched not long ago, and which made AT&T and the others bleed both subscribers and revenue, was supposed to lose steam in the next few months, as analysts tipped how AT&T is preparing a veritable onslaught of promotions for the fall flagships, including discounts on the iPhone 7. However, the rumors that AT&T will start clawing market share back from T-Mobile with the launch of the iPhone 7 might have been a bit exaggerated, as T-Mobile is obviously not planning to stand still, too.
such a promo for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Still, considering that the Note 7's price will likely be north of $800, a half-off discount is very welcome news, if it materializes. The latest proof of that notion is a tweet from serial tipster @evleaks, who posted the cryptic "TMO PROMO: GN7 BOGO" tweet that you see below. The closest thing that comes to mind from these abbreviations is that T-Mobile is going to launch a buy-one-get-one-free discount on the Galaxy Note 7. This is not far fetched at all, given that Samsung and the US carriers already ran

How so if they're able to do the exact same thing?

They'll rope in plenty of people to whom price is the ONLY concern when choosing a carrier. However, once those people (well, at least some of them) get tired of the lousy coverage, especially the horrendous data coverage, then they'll reconsider and go back to Verizon or AT&T.

The Note 7 will rope in plenty of people who want the best, most powerful, most functional, most flexible smartphone in the world. They'll be encouraged by the fact that it's predecessor met all those criteria, and had the highest customer satisfaction ratings of any smartphone.

On it right now. Sucks. But better pricing. I miss VZW network. But I Switched to T on a 4 line deal. The 4th line is free and have 10GB each. More than enough. With the cost of all 4 phones, I pay $370 a month. On VZW,, the same is almost $500. Plus I have 2 devices on VZW. iPhone 6+ and iPad Pro 9.7. Rings me up to a $500 phone bill per month. But when I had 6 devices on VZW, I was paying nearly $700, because we all had to share 10GB, so I added an unlimited data for $120 extra. With taxes and stuff, it was ridiculous. VZW is greedy. $50 per line, plus phone cost, plus taxes and insurance is easy $100 per line. Now they have gone up on data $5. The FCC needs to force all carrier to GSM.
