T-Mobile tipped to offer Galaxy Note 7 at half price with a BOGO promo

The Uncarrier crusade that T-Mobile launched not long ago, and which made AT&T and the others bleed both subscribers and revenue, was supposed to lose steam in the next few months, as analysts tipped how AT&T is preparing a veritable onslaught of promotions for the fall flagships, including discounts on the iPhone 7. However, the rumors that AT&T will start clawing market share back from T-Mobile with the launch of the iPhone 7 might have been a bit exaggerated, as T-Mobile is obviously not planning to stand still, too.

The latest proof of that notion is a tweet from serial tipster @evleaks, who posted the cryptic "TMO PROMO: GN7 BOGO" tweet that you see below. The closest thing that comes to mind from these abbreviations is that T-Mobile is going to launch a buy-one-get-one-free discount on the Galaxy Note 7. This is not far fetched at all, given that Samsung and the US carriers already ran such a promo for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Still, considering that the Note 7's price will likely be north of $800, a half-off discount is very welcome news, if it materializes.
