T-Mobile promotion seeks BlackBerry users wanting to switch to the Un-carrier

Last year, when T-Mobile and BlackBerry were pretending to be the Hatfields and the McCoys, you never would have predicted this. T-Mobile is actually trolling for BlackBerry users to join the Un-carrier. In case you've forgotten, on April 1st of last year BlackBerry released a press release signifying the end of the manufacturer's business dealings with T-Mobile. It all started because of an email sent out by the carrier, suggesting that BlackBerry users on T-Mobile swap out their 'Berry for the Apple iPhone 5s.

BlackBerry CEO John Chen did not appreciate the promotion and got into a social media squabble with T-Mobile CEO John Legere. As Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has learned, it's best not to engage Legere in a media he is so comfortable with. Legere hinted that Chen (and BlackBerry) were so dated that the BlackBerry CEO probably used MySpace. Eventually, both Johns smoked the ol' Peace Pipe and soon both sides had normalized relations with each other.

To switch your 'Berry to T-Mobile's pipeline, all you need to do is click on the sourcelink, and follow the directions. There are some caveats. You need to own an unlocked BlackBerry Passport (regular or Silver Edition), BlackBerry Classic, BlackBerry Leap, BlackBerry Q5 or BlackBerry Z30. Once you select a qualifying plan, order the 3-in-1 SIM card pack. Once your SIM card arrives, insert it in your 'Berry, and both you and your BlackBerry will be riding on T-Mobile's network.
