T-Mobile expected to launch the low-entry Samsung T139
Although many of us may not be jumping up and down with joy over an entry-level flip handset, it may still appeal to those who aren’t looking for anything too cumbersome. Enter the Samsung T139 which is your ordinary looking flip phone that’s aimed for those on a budget and looking for something that’ll get by calling people – it’s SMS/MMS capable, has a VGA camera, and offers other basic features. T-Mobile plans on releasing the handset on February 3 – and it’ll most likely make its way towards the prepaid section of T-Mobile’s lineup; as well as a postpaid option. There’s no word yet on exact pricing, but we’d speculate something along the lines of free with contract or something close to that – it shouldn’t cost you an arm or a leg. Still, we’re sure that it will make its way to someone looking to save some cash.
