Symbian powered Sony Ericsson smartphones get in with Skype

As users worldwide wait in anticipation for Skype video chat to hit up more handsets, those who are sporting Symbian based Sony Ericsson handsets are getting a special first time invitation to some of the usual set of features. Skype and all of its glory, including Skype-to-Skype calls, is now available to handsets like the Sony Ericsson Satio, Vivaz, and Vivaz Pro. Even though it may lack Skype video calls, it's nonetheless still rich in features that can be used via Wi-Fi or through your carrier's network. Owners can simply get situated with the Skype app by downloading it through their web site directly or simply by checking out Sony Ericsson's PlayNow Arena. Naturally there are fingers crossed in the hope of more features to come, but this should still be a worthy download when you consider how it can keep you connected on the go – even more than ever when traveling internationally.
