Sprint launches Treo 700wx

Palm has finally launched the Treo 700wx - Sprint's version of the 700w that is available with Verizon. It has the same specs as the 700w except for the double amount of RAM – now 64 MB. So the device is a dual-band CDMA phone with EV-DO support sporting candybar design with stub antenna. It features a 65k color 240x240 pixel TFT display, 1.3 megapixel camera and full QWERTY keyboard. The device runs on a Windows Mobile 5 for Pocket PCs, with a 312MHz CPU, SD I/O expansion slot and Bluetooth and Infrared support.

Palm's Treo 700wx is now available on Sprint's web site at a price of $499.99 with a two-year contract.
