Sony Xperia T3 to be available starting next week for a decent price
Announced at the beginning of June, the super-slim Sony Xperia T3 is now almost ready to hit shelves around the world. It looks like the first country to get the T3 is Hong Kong, where the smartphone will be released next week, on July 14. According to Sony Hong Kong’s official Facebook page, the new handset will cost around $386 (2,998 HKD in local currency).

Built around a steel frame, the Xperia T3 is only 7mm thin, this allowing Sony to tout it as the world’s slimmest 5.3-inch smartphone. The T3 is by no means a high-end device - but, seeing its price, you didn’t expect it to be, anyway. Its 5.3-inch display is a 720p one, while other features include: LTE, NFC, 1.1MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable internal memory, and a 2,500 mAh battery (for up to 12 hours of talk time). Android 4.4 KitKat and Sony’s custom UI are included.

The Xperia T3 will be available to buy in three color versions: black, white, and purple (or violet, if you prefer). So, anyone here looking forward to getting this new mid-range Sony handset?
