Some Apple Watch models will take six weeks to ship, so don't line up outside the Apple Store
Thinking of pre-ordering an Apple Watch? Well, you'll either have to think different and postpone the happiness until Apple sorts out the constrained supply of its wearable, or gear up for a four to six week wait post pre-ordering. Although eager buyers can place their pre-orders as early as tomorrow at 12:01 am PDT through Apple's website or iTunes, it may take the company until May to deliver the goods.
We learn of this from Apple's German and UK online stores, where different Apple Watch models and their respective shipment times have been listed. It looks like the Apple Watch Sport, AW with Classic Leather Strap, AW with Milanese Loop and AW with Sport Armband are the surest bets for impatient ones, as their shipment timeframes are set between April 24th and May 8th. The rest, though, are listed as shipping "within 4 to 6 weeks", and the exclusive Apple Watch Edition will be shipping "sometime in May".
