Samsung offers app for the 2014 Winter Olympics
Samsung has produced an app for the 2014 Winter Olympics to be held in Sochi starting on February 7th, and ending February 23rd. But don't look for this app to be available for non-Samsung devices quite yet. Right now, it is available only for Samsung devices, although there is a chance that Sammy's app will eventually be made available for the phones and tablets of other manufacturers.

The app is divided into sections divided by sports, medals and countries. You can also set certain athletes as your favorites and follow their progress during the games. And for those sports that you don't understand, like Curling, rules of the game are illustrated so that you can follow along on television. There is also a community section so that you can talk about the games with other fans.

The actual name of the app is Sochi 2014 WOW which stands for Wireless Olympic Works. Want to see what the app looks like? Checkout the slideshow below.
