Samsung might soon launch new Voice Note app to replace Sound Recorder
The description confirms that it's a “computer software that enables users to record audio,” which is exactly what the Sound Recorder app does at the moment. Unfortunately, we can't say for sure whether this is a brand new app that will be part of the Galaxy S9, or it's meant to replace the current Sound Recorder app on many Galaxy smartphones.
Hopefully, Samsung won't keep two apps with different names that do the same thing, since it would certainly alienate its fans. Even so, some customers might have trouble finding the new app if Samsung decides to replace the Sound Recorder app on its smartphones.
We'll probably learn more about Samsung's plan regarding the Voice Note app in the coming weeks, but at least we know what to expect from the South Korean handset maker.
