Samsung is attempting to set the record for the world’s largest game of dodgeball
If you happen to be around New York City on May 12th, then you may be able to take part in Samsung's attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the world's largest game of dodgeball. Scheduled to be held at the Regiment Armory in New York City, there will be 1,500 dodgeball players from around the area with another 600 balls on hand to be used in the record-setting game. Essentially the game will be played out in its entirety until one person is left standing at the conclusion of the event where players will have the opportunity to win Samsung Reality phones and gift cards. Aside the sheer amount of people included in this record setting attempt, it'll be interesting to see how long the game will be played out until the last survivor is crowned – which could also be a record in itself. You can RSVP for the event through Samsung's Facebook page by clicking the Dodgeball tab and inputting all of your information. It's not too often an event like this happens, but you can witness the attempt if you happen to find yourself in the city on that day.
