Samsung announces own operating system called "bada"
Today Samsung announced its own operating system called "bada", the Korean word for "ocean". Unfortunately, little is known about the OS as of now. The software will be open source and should come with easy, user-friendly and intuitive interface. The manufacturer also promises to present their operating system and an SDK for it in details at an upcoming developer´s event taking place in London next month.

According to Telecoms Korea, Samsung plans to part ways with Symbian as of 2011, significantly decrease the number of WM smartphones in their product catalogue by 2012 and focus on Android-based handsets instead. We hope we get to know more about the OS soon!
