Samsung announces new slim phone line

Samsung today introduced new slim line of phones operating in GSM and UMTS networks, targeted as multimedia devices, featuring music playback, 262k displays, memory expansion, and megapixel cameras. Two of the new GSM phones are in slider form-factor (D800 and D820), 2 UMTS phones in clamshell (Z510 and Z540), and one phone in bar form-factor and credit card size, about which we already reported.

  • MP3/AAC music playback; Dual stereo speakers
  • 73MB of internal memory, expandable through MicroSD (T-Flash) cards

  • 1.3-megapixel camera
