Samsung Intercept for Virgin Mobile is now officially available at Target for $250
After seeing shipments arrive in some Target stores across the country, it looks as though that Virgin Mobile is at a full go with the launch of their very first Android powered smartphone – the Samsung Intercept.

It was only a likely candidate to see the Intercept, which is currently being offered by Sprint, to make its way over to Virgin Mobile since it fittingly adjusts well with the prepaid market. Priced at $249.99, this will undoubtedly be seen as a steal since there are no contracts required and especially when plans start as little as $25 per month for voice – while going up to as much as $60 per month. It features a 3.2" touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera, landscape sliding keyboard, and all of the benefits of the Android Market.

Right now, it's being sold exclusively sold by Target and should become available at Virgin Mobile retail outlets and online some time by the middle of the month.
