Samsung Gear Live to receive OTA update

2comments
The LG G Watch recently received an update to Android 4.4W, build number KMV78Y. The update was sent to turn the current off when the watch is not in the charger. This was done to prevent the chemical reaction that caused the pins on the wearable to corrode. Some users of the watch were reporting discomfort in the area of their wrist, where the pins touched their skin.

Now, the same update is rolling out to the Samsung Gear Live. What makes this unusual is that there hasn't been any talk about corrosion on that smartwatch.

The update is being sent out OTA, so you need to wait for it to hit your watch. It is being sent out in stages, so if you don't receive it today or tomorrow, it will arrive soon. Unfortunately, no changelog has been released. If you do receive the update, let us know what new features you have noticed by dropping your comments in the box below.
