Samsung Galaxy SL GT-I9003 is the latest variant & packs a Super Clear LCD display
By now, we’ve seen the original Samsung Galaxy S model transformed into a multitude of variants that generally retain the original’s design and hardware.  However, the latest variant is replacing one eye catching piece of hardware in favor of something else.

The Samsung Galaxy SL GT-I9003 is basically the latest variant of the beloved Android powered smartphone we’ve been treated to for a while now, but instead of finding the instantly recognizable view of a Super AMOLED display, it’s favoring a Super Clear LCD display instead. Samsung’s web site recently mentioned the device and its specs, but in addition to the new display, we’ll find it sporting a higher capacity 1,650 mAh battery – which increases its thickness to 10.59mm compared to the original 9.9mm thickness of the Galaxy S I9000 model.

One of the alleged reasons why this device will opt to forgo using Samsung’a Super AMOLED display is that they’re allotting it for their upcoming Samsung Galaxy S2 model – which of course steps it up with a Super AMOLED Plus display. Aside from that, the Samsung Galaxy SL GT-I9003 remains roughly the same in terms of specs.
