While Samsung vowed to reduce the number of devices it churns out per year, it made no promises in terms of stuffing existing lines with new products. The Galaxy S series is a prime example this year, with the Galaxy S6 edge coming out together with the regular, traditional even, Galaxy S6, and now, 5 months later — the Galaxy S6 edge+.

In a sense, knowing the Galaxy S6 means you know the Galaxy S6 edge, which means you also understand the value proposition of the Galaxy S6 edge+. It's the S6 edge on steroids, with a larger footprint and more space for you to go nuts whilst riding the tube on your Wednesday morning. That exhilarating  Hey, there's also a gig of RAM extra. But not much else.
