Samsung Galaxy S5 mini goes on pre-order in Poland, comes with a free Gear Fit

The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini, the 4.5” compact sibling to the flagship S5, has gone up for pre-order in Europe with an off-contract price of 1899 Polish zloty (around $625).

Samsung is bundling its Gear Fit fitness tracker with S5 mini’s sold in Poland to make this a better value for the money, but you can - of course - buy the phone alone.

The S5 mini has a lot of the signature features from the original S5 - starting with the AMOLED display and the resulting Ultra Power Saving Mode that keeps your phone running for days and even weeks, going through the fingerprint scanner and heart monitor, and finishing with the resistance to water and dust. In terms of pure specs, the 4.5” S5 mini features a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, it’s got an 8-megapixel main camera, and a quad-core Snapdragon 400 under the hood.

The Galaxy S5 mini release date is set for July 23rd in Poland, and we expect it to go on sale around other markets around the same time.
