Well the time is also here for those Canadian consumers who've been happily waiting to see their fair share of Android offerings. Some may have been surprised to hear a few days ago as we reported that Rogers was going to price the Acer Liquid e at $79.99 with a 3-year contract, but it's looking more of a reality that it'll be sticking at that price range instead of the even lower rumored price of $49.99. However, the $30 dollar difference could to be somewhat of a deal breaker for some, but the Motorola QUENCH with MOTOBLUR is looking to make its arrival some time towards the later part of next week with that alluring $49.99 price tag. Aside from the social networking friendly MOTOBLUR interface running on top of Android, the only noticeable difference from the spec sheet is its smaller sized display. Naturally some people may still be turned away with contract pricing – so that's where you'll want to invest some cash in purchasing outright. If you do plan on forgoing signing a contract, just expect to fetch either of the smartphones for $424.99.
