Pre-orders for the HTC One M9 start tomorrow (March 27), devices to arrive in stores on April 10

While the One M9, HTC's newest flagship, will arrive in physical stores on April 10, HTC just made it clear that customers in the U.S. will have the chance to pre-order the device directly from its own website starting tomorrow (March 27).

The phone will command a $649 price tag and will be unlocked, meaning that you'll be able to use it regardless of your mobile carrier of choice. Sales will begin exactly at 12:01 AM tomorrow. The One M9 will land in brick and mortar stores on April 10.

As an added bonus, all HTC One M9 units will ship with HTC's new UH OH device protection service. This means that the manufacturer will replace your damaged device provided that you're within the first year of your warranty. The HTC One (M8) is also eligible for the UH OH initiative.

We already had the chance to review the HTC One M9: while we found it to be an exquisitely-crafted phone that still employs one of the best designs in the industry, we were somewhat disappointed by its under-preforming 20MP rear camera and mostly inaccurate 1080p display.

2 game's are played. Beat your last flagship, and/or beat the competition's a!!. Display. Contrast, color accuracy, brightness..all worse than last year. (I didn't say anything about 1440) Overall footprint no improvement. Phone earpiece and sound quality, worse than last year. Boom sound. No improvement. Battery. Worse than last year. Ram. No improvement. Processor. Improved (however throttled) Camera. Improved over last year, however S6, Note 4,and many other's dominate. HTC will go the way of BlackBerry.

Overall footprint is improved, slightly shorter and narrower. Earpiece and sound quality is improved. BoomSound is improved with Dolby software. Battery is bigger and new tests need to be done w/ final software. Ram is 3GB improved from 2GB. Camera is improved, especially the 4up on the front! its a phone fer chrissakes! lol! HTC not goin anywhere so keep hatin!

I'm pretty sure all the performance and battery tests are with final software, since they were done after the recent OTA update. Camera sucks compared to its competitors despite it being 20MP, especially in low light. The 4up at the front is the same, just moved from the back. Sure there are a few improvements, but not enough to outweigh all the things that got worse, especially at the price that they're selling it at.

I agree other than I really don't see much of a improvement on the processor either. After throttling I don't expect there to be any noticeable improvements in performance

Looks like the only real competition The SG6 faces right now is the Note 4
