Pre-order period for the international version of the Oppo Find 7a to begin April 7th
The drool-producing Oppo Find 7, with its 5.5 inch 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution screen and 538ppi pixel density, won't be released until later this year. However, the lower-priced variant, the Oppo Find 7a, has already been released in China and will soon be offered to the rest of the world. The International version of the Oppo Find 7a will be available for pre-orders on April 7th.

Just in case you don't remember the difference between the two models, the resolution on the 5.5 inch Oppo Find 7a screen is 1080 x 1920. That results in a pixel density of 403ppi. You can find the corresponding numbers for the Oppo Find 7 in the preceding paragraph. The latter is powered by a quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 CPU as opposed to the slightly slower 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 that drives the Oppo Find 7a. And while the more expensive Find 7 features 3GB of RAM, there is 2GB of the stuff inside the Find 7a. Lastly, the 3000mAh capacity battery on the premium model is replaced with a 2800mAh cell on the more affordable Find 7a.

Oppo didn't post a price for the handset, but did say that during the pre-order period, it will be offering a special promotion. The Chinese manufacturer said that starting on March 29th, it will reveal three surprises related to this promotion, which will last until the first batch of Oppo Find 7a handsets are sold out. Stay tuned!
