The folks over at Niantic have just announced two new events that will take on the world in the next week or so. The first one is called Pokemon GO Travel, a video series where you can see the world through the eyes of a Pokemon Trainer.

Then, there's the first-ever Global Catch Challenge where players must catch 3 billion Pokemon in just 7 days. The challenge will end on November 26 and the results will be made public along with the rewards that every Pokemon Trainer will receive in case the attempt will be successful.

Also, Niantic announced that the Global Catch Challenge will conclude with a special celebration at the Pokemon GO Safari Zone event in Tottori, Japan, at the end of the week, regardless of the results.

Speaking of rewards, players can unlock one of the three achievements and reap the rewards: Bronze, Silver and Gold. You can find the rewards for each of these achievements in the picture below.
