Oops! Apple accidentally outs the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus early on Twitter

Update: The Apple Phone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are now official. For all of the major details, be sure to check out our full round-up of the features

Apple's event is underway, and although the company hasn't gotten around to actually announcing the new smartphones, its newly-activated Twitter account has accidentally spoiled the surprise. In short, both devices are water-resistant, while the iPhone 7 Plus gets its duo camera with 2x optical zoom. Both models have stereo speakers, better batteries, and as you can see, the Piano Jet Black rumors were spot on.

Those with gripes about those antenna bands will be pleased to learn that they're not so prominent this time around. In line with what we've heard and seen, they're now discreetly tucked away at the top and the bottom. Oh, and that headphone jack is most definitely a goner.

Here's a short clip of the iPhone 7 Plus in its shiny new shade of Jet Black:

The leak also confirms that pre-orders begin this Friday, with general availability from September 16th. Stay tuned.
