OnePlus One accessories displayed by manufacturer

OnePlus One accessories displayed by manufacturer
Once you get your OnePlus One, you are going to want some accessories to go along with your new handset. Today, the company displayed on their website some additional products that go along with the One Plus One. A clear case is going to be offered by the manufacturer, that snaps on to the back of the phone. Another case will be available in bright yellow. That case is so bright, you might accidentally blind curious rubberneckers.

Another picture shows off a set of screen protectors, and a leather flip cover for the OnePlus One. The flip cover will apparently be sold in various colors, including a bright orange variant to go along with the yellow one.

The 64GB Standstone Black model of the handset is being produced first, ahead of the 16GB Silk White model. The latter is priced at $299 lock, stock and barrel. The former will cost you $349. Prices for the accessories have not been revealed. To purchase the phone, you need to have an invitation to buy it.

News about accessories for a phone that isn't real. Nice.

How can you accessorize something that is not for sale?? I had enough of this BS marketing of one plus. There's a lot of flagship phones now out there who are more reliable and have an after sales service . Just hide your so called flagship phones.

It is real, but it is sold as the Oppo Find 7. This whole Oneplus One is a marketing stunt done by none other than Oppo themselves, why? Well I don't have a clue, but the relationship between the ownership of Oneplus and Oppo ANDDD the resemblance between the 2 handsets is way too fishy imo

One Plus facebook page is receiving so much criticism in every post they have. Their invitational system is creating bad publicity for themselves...and in the contrary, its just creating more anticipation for them to make it available :p

What made it so attractive was that it was packing the exact same specs as the competition at way lower prices. By the time it's easily available for purchase the S805 will be out and while it will still be a good deal, it won't be the cutting edge phone I'm looking for. Back in April I was a massive fan of what the company was doing, now I hardly care at all.

ok, but they never said it would be available in April - the plan, all along, was to do the invites, and gradually have it available to the public in June/July...

I believe they said "something better than pre-orders" and then put forth the terrible "invite" hunger games marketing gimmick. In hindsight, this is a company that has been deceptive from the start. They still haven't started to manufacture a significant number of phones. They never may.

I remember hearing that general availability would be between late May-June, I was let down.

"its just creating more anticipation for them to make it available" Not really. Most people are moving onto other options from companies that actually make phones and don't spend all their time on marketing gimmicks.

With a snap cover on it looks exactly like an Oppo Find 5.

The Find 7a costs £330/£277 (with student discount) and it is near enough the same phone as this

Props to them for their clever marketing ploy That being said, if they don't intend to make profit out of the O+One then what's the point.?

Saves them money, using forums and the social media to spread the word - the problem is that people think that they are entitled to the device - must be Obamacare that got them thinking that way - welcome to AMERiCA - the land of ENTITLEMENT....

Most Americans hate Obama care... What you see/hear on the news is what the leaders and elitist want you to here not how people really feel/act.

Pre-orders would have been an open, fair process but OnePlus decided to play the cronyism card instead, just like a bunch of slimy politicians.

Just for your information - you can by LG G3 accessories, now, but not the phone....sooooooo, yeeeeahhhhh, about that....

Starting June 6th more invites are available through email over the next few days from that date. It will be for the forum members who qualify. I am still deciding between the OPO and LG G3, and I may even wait for the Note 4, but Samsung usually disappoints...but, who knows...

I gave up on this phone after the software issues going unfixed for months. Enjoy your buggy/laggy phones with sub par battery life, poor reception and bad call quality. Hopefully you guys get that all fixed soon...

I agree completely. Whenever a company spends most of its effort on marketing gimmicks instead of making phones, you know the company is a scam. The Oppo forums are filled with complaints about hardware and software issues. No way I want something basically from the same company. Saving a bit of money and getting a headache of a phone is not a good deal.
